Saxifraga paniculata redspot – This is the most variable species, due partly to the fact of its wide distribution over the mountains of Europe and in the northern and Arctic regions. In colour the flowers vary from a pure white to yellow, while some have their white petals heavily spotted with red. I cultivate this species in a shady place in my rock garden.
